Usually, fumbles are a bad thing, but the Arkansas Razorbacks managed to have one work in their favor on Saturday afternoon against Mississippi State.
The score was tied 14-14 in the third quarter when the Arkansas running back fumbled the ball. However, somewhere in the scramble to recover it, it got booted several yards down the field.
Then, as you can see in the video below, Arkansas made an unexpected recovery at the one-yard line:
….huh?
Arkansas should put this one in the playbook forever. pic.twitter.com/Qo0QHYZLbN— CBS Sports (@CBSSports) November 18, 2017
Whatever that play was, Arkansas OC Dan Enos should try to dial it up again sometime in the future, as it was incredibly effective.
Considering the Hogs scored on the play after the recovery to take a 21-14 lead, it was a momentum-shifting play for the maligned Arkansas squad.
