What Sam Pittman said after Arkansas' 38-17 win over Rice
Sam Pittman was understandably disappointed with how Arkansas played on Saturday in a 38-17 victory over Rice.
After the game, Pittman met with the media and said he was, “not happy with the way we played but happy we got the victory.” Arkansas trailed 17-7 to Rice by early in the third quarter, but then Arkansas reeled off 31 unanswered points to secure the win.
Arkansas will likely need a better effort next week when the Razorbacks take on Texas.
Sam Pittman on the radio halftime radio show: “If it wasn’t for the defense we’d be down 30. We got a punt blocked, penalties all over the place….It’s embarrassing.”
