What Sam Pittman said after Arkansas drops road decision to Texas A&M

Arkansas finished with the edge in total yardage over Texas A&M, but the Aggies were victorious in this one, beating the Razorbacks 41-31 at Kyle Field on Saturday. The game was moved from AT&T Stadium in Arlington to College Station this year in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Feleipe Franks threw for 3 touchdowns, 2 of them into the hands of Treylon Burks. Burks also led all receivers with 117 yards and 7 catches.

But the Razorbacks allowed the Aggies to go 7-of-11 on 3rd downs, while Jaylen Wydermyer had a pair of touchdown catches of his own.

Arkansas was without Jalen Catalon for much of the game. The freshman defender, 2nd on the team in tackles, had a targeting call against him in the 1st half upheld.

The Razorbacks return home to host Tennessee on Nov. 7. Here’s what Sam Pittman had to say after his team fell to 2-3 on the season:
