Arkansas got a win on Saturday, as the Razorbacks defeated FIU, 44-10. For the first time in what feels all year, the rushing attack of Arkansas finally resembled the ground game from last year. The Razorbacks rushed the ball 54 times for 323 yards.

Quarterback K.J.Jefferson finished the game with 187 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, while also rushing for 90 yards on 15 carries.

On defense, the Razorbacks intercepted two passes, and held FIU to only 76 rushing yards on 23 carries.

It has been a tough year for Arkansas, as even with the win, the Razorbacks are only 4-7. After the game, coach Sam Pittman talked about his team’s win, and gave a shoutout to the fans for their influence on the game. He also commented on the injury to Rocket Sanders.

While a bowl is out of the question for the Razorbacks, there is still a chance for Arkansas to cap off the 2023 season on a positive note. The Razorbacks will host No. 9 Missouri next week. The Tigers are coming off a thrilling 33-31 win against the Florida Gators on Saturday night.

Kickoff between Arkansas and Missouri is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET on Friday and the game will be aired on CBS.
