NFL teams are solidifying their rosters and depth charts ahead of preseason games, and as part of that process, two former Auburn players — WR Quan Bray and OL Austin Golson — were waived Monday.

Bray was waived by the Buffalo Bills to make room for former Browns WR Corey Coleman. The team gave up a 2020 draft pick in a trade for Coleman. Bray had been battling a toe injury before the news. The former Tigers all-purpose animal played two seasons with the Colts. After a big-time prep career, Bray signed with Auburn in 2011. He would go on to become the first player in Auburn history to score a rushing, receiving and punt return TD in the same season.

Golson, on the other hand, was waived by the Jets, where he signed as an undrafted free agent in May. Golson started his career at Ole Miss before transferring to Auburn and ended up playing in 39 games for the Tigers.
