2-Minute Drill: Auburn looks to right the ship against LSU
Les Miles and the Bayou Bengals have had the number of its divisional foe in recent years.
LSU has won six of the last seven against Auburn and handed the reigning SEC champions its only loss in conference play last year.
However, Auburn looks to right the ship on Saturday night and move to 5-0. Nick Marshall and the Auburn offense have not executed to its usual precision in the last two wins over Kansas State and Louisiana Tech and Ellis Johnson’s defense faces a new test in quarterback Brandon Harris. It will be paramount for Auburn to create pressure on Harris in order to speed the game up for him.
Gus Malzahn said earlier this week on his radio show that he still has a bad taste in his mouth from the loss to LSU last season when the Bengal Tigers jumped out to a 21-0 first half lead and held on for a 35-21 win.
One SEC West team has already made a statement on Saturday. Can Auburn do the same in primetime?
