4-star 2022 safety, point guard announces commitment to Auburn

The Auburn Tigers are getting an elite 2022 athlete. Both Bryan Harsin and Bruce Pearl will be excited for this news.
That’s because the player in question is 4-star safety and 4-star point guard Tre Donaldson out of Florida. Donaldson attends Florida State University High School in Tallahassee. He chose the Tigers over Florida and Florida State.
Donaldson announced his decision on CBS Sports on Thursday afternoon.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Donaldson is the No. 20 safety in the class of 2022 and the No. 32 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
In basketball, 247Sports has Donaldson as a 4-star point guard and the No. 18 point guard in the 2022 class.
Auburn’s 2022 football recruiting class now has 10 players. Prior to Donaldson’s commitment, the class ranked No. 56 in the nation and No. 14 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
