4-star Louisiana safety commits to Auburn over Georgia
Shreveport, Louisiana safety took things down to the wire between Auburn and Georgia and ultimately chose the Tigers on Wednesday, the first day of the Early Signing Period.

The 6-1, 197-pounder is rated 4-stars, the No. 6 Louisiana product, No. 16 safety and No. 175 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. His commitment is No. 24 in an Auburn class ranked No. 5 in the SEC and No. 7 on the Composite. Marcus Woodson led the recruitment for Gus Malzahn’s staff, out-dueling Charlton Warren of Georgia.
Reed’s decommitment from Ole Miss (Dec. 2) came days after visiting Auburn (Nov. 28). He visited UGA this past weekend.
