The 6-1, 197-pounder is rated 4-stars, the No. 6 Louisiana product, No. 16 safety and No. 175 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. His commitment is No. 24 in an Auburn class ranked No. 5 in the SEC and No. 7 on the Composite. Marcus Woodson led the recruitment for Gus Malzahn’s staff, out-dueling Charlton Warren of Georgia.
Reed’s decommitment from Ole Miss (Dec. 2) came days after visiting Auburn (Nov. 28). He visited UGA this past weekend.
