Former Auburn WR Kyle Davis has signed with the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders, the team announced Thursday.

Davis was dismissed from Auburn during the 2017 season, and he attended FAU under head coach Lane Kiffin last year. He sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.

The former Tigers pass catcher actually entered the NCAA’s transfer portal in January, but now, he’s bypassed that opportunity by signing with the Roughriders.

Davis recorded 19 catches for 458 yards and two touchdowns during his time with the Tigers. The former 4-star prospect certainly has the size and speed to make a nice pro prospect, and he’ll have a chance to showcase his talent in the CFL.

Nonetheless, it’s been a wild ride for Davis.
