The Auburn Tigers added a defensive playmaker from the Duke Blue Devils via the transfer portal on Wednesday.
Dorian Mausi, a linebacker, took to social media to announce that he is committed to the Auburn Tigers. Mausi spent the first 4 seasons of his college career with the Blue Devils.
“With that being said, I’m blessed to announce my commitment to Auburn University,” Mausi wrote in a post. “I’m looking forward to adding to the legacy of excellence that defines Auburn Football !!#WarEagle”
Mausi was a key piece of the Blue Devil defense in 2023. The linebacker finished 3rd on the team with 61 tackles. Mausi also added an interception and defended 2 passes.
The former Blue Devil joins a linebacker room that is quickly becoming a strength for the Tigers. Mausi will join Cam Riley, Wesley Steiner, Eugene Asante, and Austin Keys, just to name a few of Auburn’s linebackers.
The linebacker is the 3rd transfer the Tigers have added thus far. Mausi joins defensive lineman Gage Keys and wide receiver Robert Lewis as new additions to the Tigers.
