Longtime Auburn linebackers coach Travis Williams has earned a promotion on the Plains as he will now be listed as the team’s co-defensive coordinator. The school announced the news on Thursday.

In addition to that news, defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson has been given the additional title of recruiting coordinator for the program. Auburn also announced a promotion for Brett Whiteside, who will serve as director of football operations and administration after seven years on staff under Malzahn. Levorn Harbin has been named the program’s new director of recruiting while Jorrell Bostrom was also promoted to “player-related activities” on the Plains.

The Tigers also announced the offseason additions of Kendall Simmons as an offensive line analyst. Simmons won two Super Bowls playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers following his playing career at Auburn. Adam Herring will serve as an analyst working with the team’s linebackers. Addison Williams will serve as an analyst and assistant working directly under Malzahn.

Finally, Auburn announced Steven Haunga will serve as an offensive graduate assistant for the program. Haunga played for Malzahn at Arkansas State.
