Thursday’s practice was one to remember for six former walk-on Auburn players.

According to 247Sports, after the session was over, six Tigers — WRs Will Hastings and Griffin King, DL Gary Walker Jr., LB Chase Ritter, FB Keenan Sweeney and TE Tucker Brown — were surprised with scholarships.

Hastings has received the most playing time of that group, recording 11 catches for 98 yards and a touchdown last year while appearing in six games.

They all will be counted on to contribute this fall, though, now that they are on scholarships.

The Tigers had plenty of room to add scholarships, especially after John Franklin III left the program earlier this week.
