The Auburn Tigers have risen to national significance under coach Bruce Pearl, winning a share of the SEC regular-season title last year.

However, they’ll need to continue recruiting at a high level to continue that momentum, so Wednesday morning’s news is huge for the Tigers.

As you can see below, 2019 SF Isaac Okoro, the No. 1 player in the state of Georgia, announced his commitment to Auburn early on Wednesday morning:

According to the 247Sports composite, Okoro is the No. 8 small forward in the class of 2019 and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Georgia.

The Tigers now have two players in their 2019 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 2 in the SEC and No. 8 nationally, per 247Sports.
