Auburn’s program is in a bit of a state of flux as the Tigers have seen coaches and players leave in recent days.

But the Tigers reportedly have their bowl destination set as Brett McMurphy of The Action Network has them pegged for the Birmingham Bowl against Houston. The Cougars suffered their second loss of the season Saturday against Cincinnati in the American Athletic Conference Championship Game.

At 6-6, and despite a 4-game losing streak to end the regular season, the Tigers are bowl bound for the ninth consecutive season. The Birmingham Bowl is set for 11 a.m. local time on Dec. 28 in Birmingham.

Auburn parted ways with offensive coordinator Mike Bobo, had 5 players enter the transfer portal and is still in the midst of searching for a new play-caller on Bryan Harsin’s staff.

How Harsin and the program respond to these changes and the bowl season will be closely watched.
