Auburn coaches furious with Jeremy Johnson, passing game
Auburn “Heisman hopeful” Jeremy Johnson may not get many more opportunities before he’s pulled in favor of Sean White.
LSU leads Auburn, 24-0, at halftime in Baton Rouge, and the season quickly is entering crisis mode for the visitors.
Asked by sideline reporter Allie LaForce whether the Tigers will stick with Johnson after halftime, the coach deferred.
“Right now our passing game is god-awful,” coach Gus Malzahn said.

Apparently, Malzahn isn’t the only coach upset at Johnson and the passing game.
Allie LaForce: Rhett Lashlee took glove off Jeremy Johnson's hand, threw it behind bench & told him he doesn't need a glove, it's mental.

Johnson is 6 of 12 for 36 yards and an interception. He’s mostly thrown screen passes to the likes of Kerryon Johnson, and nearly threw another pick just before halftime. He’s now thrown six interceptions in less than three games.
