Auburn is excited to get Ze’Vian Capers to campus, and the Tigers may be even more anxious after a recent game by the 4-star commit from Alpharetta, Georgia.

Capers had nine receptions for 282 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-24 victory over Dawson County. The 282 yards are the fifth-most in a game in state history, according to the Georgia High School Football Historians Association, per the AJC.

He was especially dangerous in the screen game as one of his touchdowns came as he caught a pass near the line of scrimmage, then weaved through the defense with blockers in front.

Capers is a top-shelf recruit and the No. 12 player in Georgia along with being ranked the No. 24 player in the country in the 2020 class. He reportedly has 20 offers, including several across the SEC. He’s listed as 6-foot-3 1/2 and 195 pounds. The one-time Arkansas commit made his pledge to Auburn on July 1, according to his 247Sports profile.
