Hugh Freeze on Keionte Scott’s status: “Keionte did not get a good report and that hurts us a lot. He’s our leader back there. He’s going to have surgery (Monday). Our prayers are with him for quick healing. We’ll be without him for considerable time.”

Scott was injured in Auburn’s 45-13 win over Samford on Saturday. He had 1 tackle in the game, bringing his total to 10 for the season.
A 2-time JUCO All-American, Scott arrived at AU for the 2022 season. He stepped into the role of nickel, recording 54 tackles in his first year with the Tigers.
Auburn has notched a 3-0 record in its first season under Freeze. The focus shifts to SEC play in Week 4 with a trip to College Station to face Texas A&M.
Jimbo Fisher brought in Bobby Petrino to revamp the Aggie offense. Petrino’s unit is currently No. 4 in the SEC in total offense, with 467 yards per game. The Aggies are also among the conference’s top teams in passing offense (No. 4, 337.3 yards per game) and scoring (No. 3, 44 points per game).
