Auburn has already lost several defensive players to the transfer portal since the end of the 2021 season.

Then, earlier this week, former DC Derek Mason was officially announced as the new defensive coordinator at Oklahoma State.

Now, Auburn’s defensive exodus reportedly continues, as Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports tweeted on Thursday morning that 4-star freshman DL Marquis Robinson was entering the NCAA transfer portal:

As a freshman in 2021, Robinson appeared in 1 game, recording 1 total tackle in the Tigers’ loss to Georgia in October.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it seems his time on The Plains, like many other Auburn defenders this offseason, is coming to an end.
