Love was in the air on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Auburn staffer Clint Crumpton couldn’t wait any longer. He had to ask former Tigers student trainer Emma Miller to marry him.
But how?
You know the no-huddle offensive playcards Auburn uses on the sideline? Crumpton customized one with his image, Miller’s face, a ring and a question mark, and held it high before Saturday’s game against Ole Miss.
Creative.
“I thought it would be a good way,” Crumpton told AL.com.
Crumpton is an equipment manager and is one of several staffers who holds the distinguishable playcards in the air on gamedays.
Miller loved the gesture and of course, said yes.
“I started falling for him pretty fast, but it took me a while to convince him to go on a date with me,” Miller told AL.com. “I’m over the moon right now. I’m so happy.”
