Auburn just finished off a disappointing 6-7 campaign in 2021, the first under new head coach Bryan Harsin.

There have already been some major staff changes, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and that continued on Thursday.

Per a report from Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Mike Hartline — who had been the OC at Division II program Ohio Dominican — is joining Harsin’s staff as an analyst:

If Hartline’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he was a QB at Kentucky (albeit not an All-SEC QB like Zenitz mentioned) in the late 2000s. He overlapped with Randall Cobb during his time with the Wildcats.

Also, his brother Brian is a top position coach in the country, coaching a loaded WR room at Ohio State.

We’ll see if Mike can work his way into an on-field role in the coming years.
