Auburn joins Kansas as the only other program to have hosted GameDay in its last four seasons of travel (2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024). There was no traveling pregame show during the 2020-21 season impacted by COVID-19.
GameDay is set for a two-hour show, beginning at 9 a.m. CT/10 a.m. ET. Host Rece Davis will be joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, Seth Greenberg and Andraya Carter. The Tigers and Wildcats will tip off at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN, with Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas and Jessica Sims on the call.
Auburn has won four of its last five games. On Wednesday, AU made a statement with a 101-61 win over No. 11 South Carolina. The Tigers are at 9-3 in the SEC standings (20-5 overall), a half game back from 9-2 Alabama.
Kentucky has been up and down lately. John Calipari’s Wildcats defeated Ole Miss 75-63 on Tuesday to bounce back from a recent loss to Gonzaga. UK is 17-7 overall with a 7-4 mark in conference contests.
