No. 18 Auburn trails No. 2 Georgia 17-3 at halftime on The Plains. Tiger fans feel like Bryan Harsin’s squad is competing against more than just the Bulldogs. AU fans on Twitter haven’t shied from calling out the SEC officiating crew.
As expected, many Auburn fans are upset about the targeting call against Smoke Monday. The standout Tiger defender was ejected in the middle of the second quarter. Tigers supporters were also upset about pass interference. The AU defense was flagged for DPI on a questionable play while the refs helf their whistles on Auburn’s 4th-and-goal play near the end zone.
Here’s a small sample of what the War Eagle faithful is saying about the refs’ first-half calls on the bird app:

The #2 team in the country doesn’t need this help from the refs and right now they’re tilting it towards Georgia’s way. I’m so sick of the SEC trying to set up end of the year matchups mid season

This has been the most one sided officiating by sec refs I’ve ever seen. Gotta keep Georgia in the game because daddy @SEC wants Bama vs Georgia at 1 and 2.
