On Signing Day Eve, JaDarian “JD” Rhym has changed his plans. The 4-star cornerback out of Valdosta (Georgia) pledged to LSU on Jan. 8, but Tuesday he announced he has flipped his commitment to Auburn.

Listed at 6-1, 170 pounds, Rhym is rated 4-stars, the No. 17 Peach State product, No. 21 cornerback and No. 168 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. Rhym’s recruiting profile shows 15 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Rhym visited LSU in June, but during the season his only visits were to AU on Oct. 30 and Nov. 26.

Rhym is the now highest-rated commitment of Auburn’s 2022 class, which has 15 pledges.
