Auburn flips Georgia LB from Miami
Dublin, Georgia LB Romello Height had been committed to Miami since July 1, 2019, but on Wednesday he decided to sign with Auburn.
The 6-5, 216-pounder is rated 3-stars and ranked the No. 28 outside linebacker, No. 39 Georgia product and No. 383 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2020 on the 247Sports Composite. Height collected 28 scholarship offers as a recruit, including Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Defensive coaches Kevin Steele and Rodney Garner helped secure the flip for the Tigers. Height is signee No. 19 and commitment No. 23 in an Auburn class ranked No. 5 in the SEC and No. 7 overall nationally on the Composite.
