Auburn has finalized a couple of key dates on its 2025 football schedule.

The Tigers will have their annual homecoming game on Sept. 13 against South Alabama, the program announced on Tuesday morning. Auburn also shared the news that its Military Appreciation Game will come on Nov. 1 against Kentucky.

These are 2 key dates on the Auburn football calendar. Last season, homecoming came against New Mexico and the Military Appreciation game was against Louisiana-Monroe. The Tigers won both of those games in blowout fashion.

Hugh Freeze and the Tigers will be hoping to take a big step forward in 2025. Auburn is just 5-11 in SEC play over the past 2 seasons with Freeze running the show. Auburn went just 5-7 overall in 2024, missing a bowl game for the 2nd time in the last 3 years.

Auburn has attracted a strong transfer portal class to the Plains this offseason. The class is headlined by former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold, who struggled for the Sooners in 2024 but is a former 5-star prospect. Auburn’s 2025 transfer class currently ranks No. 4 in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
