Auburn holds 4th-quarter lead in Iron Bowl as Swag Surf blares in Jordan-Hare Stadium

Auburn has Jordan-Hare Stadium rocking as it extended a lead over Alabama in the 4th quarter, thanks to a field goal from Alex McPherson to make it 24-20 with 10:15 remaining.
Auburn earlier saw a Payton Thorne touchdown pass to Ja’Varrius Johnson to go up by a point.
There’s plenty of history of Auburn and its home crowd causing major problems for opponents, and this could be the latest example. Alabama is trying to play itself into the College Football Playoff conversation among the 1-loss teams.

During an interview with Jenny Dell of CBS Sports at the start of the 4th quarter, Auburn coach Hugh Freeze said he wanted to get the game to the 4th quarter, and that’s how Auburn has it.
Freeze is simply the latest in a long line of Auburn coaches to lead Alabama in the 4th quarter.
Auburn 21, Alabama 20.
The fourth quarter is calling.
And the amazing trend continues.
Every Auburn coach starting with Pat Dye has had a fourth-quarter lead on Alabama in his first Iron Bowl.https://t.co/3bRJTIrQnU.

The sun has set, Alabama just shanked a field goal, Jordan-Hare is rocking and Auburn has the lead and the ball with a few minutes left in the third.
Woo buddy, the Iron Bowl is delivering.
