The Auburn Tigers finished the 2019 recruiting cycle with a solid class, and now they’re off to a great start in 2020.

A big key for the Tigers has always been to keep top in-state talent away from rival Alabama and other programs like Georgia and Clemson, and on Sunday, they did just that.

As you can see below, 4-star 2020 WR J.J. Evans announced via Twitter that he was committing to the Tigers on Sunday afternoon:

Per the 247Sports composite, Evans is the No. 64 receiver in the class of 2020 and the No. 16 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

Auburn now has seven players in its 2020 class, which currently ranks No. 5 in the SEC and No. 9 nationally, per 247Sports.
