Auburn loses four-star 2017 commit
Four-star 2017 athlete Tray Bishop has been committed to Auburn since July.
However, on Tuesday, the elite prospect decided to de-commit from the Tigers.
Bishop told 247Sports the Tigers are still in the mix, but he wants to make sure he’s making the right decision:
“I just need some time so I am decommitting,” Bishop told 247.”I just want to take some time to make sure I am making the right decision.”
However, not just any school will have a chance to land the talented athlete. Bishop said he was only considering Auburn and a pair of SEC East schools:
“I don’t want to reopen my recruitment,” he said.”It is down to Georgia and Florida and Auburn still in the picture.”
According to 247Sports, Bishop, a Georgia native, is the No. 4 athlete in the class of 2017 and the No. 16 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
