Auburn loses only 2022 commitment after Hawaii big man reopens his recruitment
The Auburn Tigers are gearing up for an important 2021-22 season. Coach Bruce Pearl has some key players returning to the team, while some impact transfers will also be expected to contribute.
But, on Monday, the Tigers’ 2022 recruiting class took a big hit, as 7-foot big man Sage Tolentino decommitted from the class.
As you can see below, the Hawaii native took to Twitter to announce that he was reopening his recruitment:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Tolentino was the No. 15 center in the 2022 class and the No. 119 player nationally.
Tolentino was the only commitment in Auburn’s 2022 class. Now, Pearl will be starting from scratch with next year’s recruiting class.
