A projected depth chart was released by AL.com for Week 2 of Auburn spring practices.
There’s nothing currently separating Jeremy Johnson, John Franklin III and Sean White for the starting quarterback job at the moment. Senior Jovon Robinson leads the backfield after rushing for 639 yards while averaging an impressive 5.5 yards per carry last season.
The Tigers’ top two wideouts from last season, seniors Ricardo Louis and Melvin Ray, are both gone, so the team will look to make up for their production.
Junior Braden Smith, named Second-Team All-SEC in 2015, is expected to lead the offensive line.
Defensively, the team is hoping for Carl Lawson will have a clean bill of health throughout 2016 and demonstrate the impact he showed as a freshman. Senior Rudy Ford could return from an illness this week.
