The Auburn Tigers are gearing up for Saturday’s SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs, but they face the very real possibility that star RB Kerryon Johnson won’t be able to play.

Johnson appeared to injure his shoulder in the Iron Bowl victory over Alabama and is now questionable for Saturday’s title matchup.

However, Johnson fully expects to play in the important game, telling reporters on Monday that he is confident in his ability to play through the pain against Georgia:

The Tigers’ chances to win go down drastically if Johnson can’t play, but there are still a few days left before the game for Johnson to heal.

Will the star running back, who threw for a touchdown and ran for another against the Crimson Tide, be able to play on Saturday? That remains to be seen, but the Tigers will hold out hope that their star player will be in the lineup.
