Bruce Pearl teased it earlier this week, and now a report has added clarity to one of Auburn’s non-conference opponents for the 2023-24 season.

Auburn basketball is headed to Atlanta for a fourth straight season, and will take on Indiana, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reported. Pearl mentioned that the game will once again be part of the Holiday Hoopsgiving event at StateFarm Arena.
The Tigers have played a neutral-site contest in Atlanta the past 3 seasons, in Memphis and Nebraska.
“We’ve also, the last couple of years, played in Atlanta in a very special (Holiday Hoopsgiving),” Pearl said. “We played Memphis last year and we’ve got a great opponent coming in this year. I don’t know if it’s been announced yet, but we’ve got a great opponent coming in again in a December game down at the arena the Hawks play in. It’s great to be here to thank our fans for all their support.”
Bruce Pearl said earlier this week that Auburn had a pretty big opponent lined up for Holiday Hoopsgiving this year, but he didn’t say who. Apparently, it’s Indiana. https://t.co/ulsR2SGG46
