Two more Auburn players are looking at playing elsewhere after 2 seasons on The Plains.
Landen King, a wide receiver/tight end, and OL Colby Smith entered the portal on Sunday, the deadline for undergraduate entry in the spring window.
A former 3-star recruit out of Humble, Texas, King signed with Auburn over 27 other scholarship offers. In 2 seasons, he played in 11 games for the Tigers.
After playing in 8 games during the 2021 season, King made just 3 appearances in 2022. The redshirt for 2022 allows him 3 more seasons of college football eligibility.
I am officially in the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility remaining! Thank you Auburn for everything!

Smith did not see the field in 2 seasons at Auburn. A 3-star prospect, Smith flipped his commitment from Tennessee to AU after the Tigers hired Will Friend.

Auburn signed 18 players for 2021, the transition class between the departure of Gus Malzahn and the hiring of Bryan Harsin. Fifteen of those signees have now opted for the transfer portal. Edge defender Dylan Brooks, a former top-100 recruit, entered the portal on Saturday.
