Auburn WR Seth Williams enjoyed a terrific 3-year run on the Plains. Now, the Tuscaloosa, Alabama, native is turning his eyes toward a professional career.

The junior announced on Monday that he will give up his final year of eligibility and enter the 2021 NFL Draft, posting a statement to his Instagram account.

“Thanks be unto God for His unwavering favor on my life and allowing me to play the game that excites me,” he wrote. “It has been an honor to play football for Auburn University. When I was younger, I remember telling my mom that commentators would call my name under the shining lights of the football field. I am living out that dream!”

Williams leaves Auburn as one of the most prolific wide receivers in program history.

For his career, he totaled 132 receptions, 2,124 yards and 17 touchdowns, including 47 catches, 760 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2020. He departs 4th in program history in career yardage and 7th all-time in catches, while his 59 receptions in 2019 ranks 4th-highest by an Auburn player in a single season. Williams also leaves in a 3-way tie for 3rd in career receiving touchdowns with Karsten Bailey and Darvin Adams.
