In a game that was most known for sluggish offenses, Bo Nix found Seth Williams down the right sideline for a 32-yard touchdown to give Auburn a 16-3 lead with 10:03 left in the fourth quarter.

Williams beat Martin Emerson Jr., and went right back to him to deliver some trash talk in their ongoing battle. It was a third down and 14 play, and showed a lot of bottled up emotions from Williams. It was his first touchdown since Oct. 24 at Ole Miss.

It was Williams’ longest catch of the game, but only his third as he was targeted 11 times in the game. He had 57 receiving yards by that point.

The Auburn offense has been looking for that kind of play all game as Nix was just 15-for-23 passing for 125 yards and that touchdown by that point in the game.

The third down play was also a unique develop for the Tigers, who were 5-for-15 in the game.
