Bryan Harsin has done a good job mixing up his first Auburn staff with a blend of coaches with Southeastern Conference experience, coaches with ties to Auburn and mixing in some coaches he’s worked with at Boise State.

Continuing on that theme, Harsin has reportedly added another coach to his Auburn staff with ties to the Mountain West Conference — where Boise State is currently an active member.

According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com, Auburn has hired former Utah State offensive coordinator Bodie Reeder as an analyst. Zenitz is reporting that Reeder has already begun to work on The Plains.

In addition to his time serving as an offensive coordinator at Utah State, Reeder has also been an offensive coordinator at North Texas (during the 2019 season) and Eastern Washington (during the 2017-2018 seasons).

During his lone season with North Texas, the program led Conference USA with 33 passing touchdowns while he helped lead Eastern Washington to the FCS title game and a Big Sky Championship.

His final Eastern Washington offense set a school record for points after finishing the season with 623 total points.
