The Auburn Tigers were without star freshman PG Sharife Cooper in a loss against Florida on Tuesday night, and it showed.
The Tigers committed 21 turnovers in a 74-57 loss to the Gators and couldn’t get anything going offensively.
So, how long will Cooper be out? Coach Bruce Pearl revealed after the game that Cooper suffered an ankle injury in practice on Sunday and is questionable for the rest of the week:
Auburn HC Bruce Pearl says PG Sharife Cooper turned his ankle Sunday in practice.
"We'll see how the week progresses. Obviously, we never rush guys back. But he's trying to get back."

Auburn self-imposed a postseason ban this year, so the Tigers won’t play in the SEC or NCAA Tournaments. If Cooper’s ankle injury lingers, it’s possible Cooper’s college career is done.
Cooper is a likely lottery (or at least a first-round pick) in the 2021 NBA Draft, so we’ll see what he decides to do after the season ends.
