Bryan Harsin approves of Auburn's blue turf practice field: 'This feels right'
Check the calendar folks, it’s April Fools’ Day.
Credit Auburn for being the first football program from the Southeastern Conference to troll Twitter with a joke on Thursday as the team’s official account shared a clearly doctored photo of Auburn’s practice field painted blue.
This is obviously a reference to Bryan Harsin’s alma mater and previous program, Boise State, which famously features blue turf in Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho.
To his credit, Harsin played along with the bit and helped spread the word of the fake blue field on The Plains.
No need to worry, Auburn fans, the blue turf is never coming to The Plains — not even on the program’s practice field.
Our facility and @AUGroundsCrew really out did themselves this time! #WDE🦅 https://t.co/DzTY2zGGeF

Nicely played coach.
Shamless homer.
Hmmm. Is that anything like “shameless”?
Aren’t you glad you never make a typo.
Lol….yes. Exactly like shameless.
Don’t be so quick to think it’s a joke. Sounds like a joke with an undertone of wishing to me!!!! I guarantee you Coach would gladly paint it blue!!!! Allow him and find out. BY THE WAY. CONGRATS ON GETTING TYKEE SMITH. OH SORRY, JUST A JOKE!!!!!!!
PS. Y’all are going to soooooooooooooo miss Gus!!!! HUGE MONUMENTAL MISTAKE!!! Wait and see!!!!
