Bryan Harsin reaction: Fans, media weigh in about the future of Auburn's coach
Bryan Harsin’s week of turmoil appears to be over as an announcement is set to come from Auburn on Friday to keep Harsin.
This expected announcement, which came via an ESPN report, came a week after outgoing President Jay Gogue told the board of trustees that he was trying to separate fact from fiction.
“We’ll keep you posted and make the appropriate decision at the right time,” Gogue said last week.
As usual, the report of the announcement unleashed plenty of GIFs and other reactions on social media from across college football fans and media.
Here’s a sample of the reaction:
My sources have indicated that they agreed to keep him only after he promised to bring on John L. Smith as OC.

Dead man walking. Too much damage already. He’d better pull off an outstanding season.

That’s a place I wanna work at, where all the important people and bosses come together to see if they want to fire me, and the situation has gotten to the point where they have to publicly announce my job status either way.

Not an Auburn fan, but this is the right move. Weathered the storm.

They would fire him if they could find a way to get out of the buyout

If Bryan Harsin has defeated the boosters, then I will run through a brick wall for him. He may not even want me to, but i will do it.
