No. 18 Auburn had a chance to make a statement Saturday with a huge home game against No. 2 Georgia.
Instead, it was the Bulldogs who made the same statement they have all year, that they have the best defense in the country and are going to be very tough to beat.
The Tigers (4-2, 1-1 SEC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the opening quarter and had the home crowd at Jordan-Hare Stadium in a frenzy.
From there, however, Georgia exerted its will and controlled every facet of the game, cruising to a 34-10 victory.
After the game, 1st-year Auburn coach Bryan Harsin met with the media.
Here are some of his thoughts on the outcome.

Bryan Harsin on missed opportunities
"We have to finish drives. That's the most frustrating thing. I know we can move the ball. Can we score touchdowns?"
Not enough, Harsin said. "We can't bank on getting a call here and there. Have to fight. You have to score touchdowns."

Auburn HC Bryan Harsin: "That's the most frustrating thing right now, finishing drives. We can drive the field, and it just doesn't matter if we can't put points on the board. I know we can move the ball. Can we score touchdowns? Because that gets old if we can't."
