Auburn fans were ready to go Saturday for their home game against Georgia, and Jordan-Hare Stadium was rocking when the Tigers took an early 3-0 lead.

Among those contributing to the pandemonium was Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl, who was caught on video going wild in the crowd.

During his weekly press conference Monday, Tigers football coach Bryan Harsin was asked if he had seen the video of Pearl, which he had.

The low-key Harsin likely won’t be spotted doing anything similar at a Tigers basketball game but he said he was grateful for Pearl’s enthusiasm and support.

“One, I appreciate it,” Harsin said. “Bruce is tremendous just for this entire athletic program.”

Of course, the Bulldogs eventually took over and won 34-10, but Pearl’s enthusiasm certainly will be remembered.

Auburn return to action this Saturday at No. 17 Arkansas.
