Auburn is getting set for the Birmingham Bowl matchup with Houston, and coach Bryan Harsin offered some of his final thoughts on the game, and what he expects out of the Tigers.

The game is set for noon ET on Tuesday on ESPN.

“It’s all about our season and finishing, it’s about these seniors, it’s about this team, and all the things that we went through to get to this point,” Harsin said Tuesday morning ahead of the game. “I think bowl games are a privilege to be a part of. When you play in the postseason, you’ve done things to get to the postseason. This is a chance to finish what you started and really that’s the focus of our team and we’ve been talking about since the beginning of the year.”

The Cougars (11-2) had won 11 straight before they lost to Playoff-bound Cincinnati 35-20 in the American Athletic Conference championship game. Bryan Harsin is trying to finish his first season on a high note despite at least 7 players being out, mostly because of opt-outs getting ready for the NFL Draft, or transfers. Auburn is 6-6 entering the bowl game.
