Bryan Harsin takes apparent jab at Auburn following loss to Cal
Bryan Harsin is having some fun on social media at his former employer’s expense.
On Monday morning, Harsin shared a photo of him enjoying a lake-front beverage with a caption that certainly caught the attention of Auburn fans:
“Nothing beats winning a tough battle.” Cheers to all the Winners!

Maybe Harsin’s comment has nothing to do with Auburn’s disappointing home loss to Cal in Week 2, but the Tigers’ fans in his mentions seem to think otherwise. Harsin was Auburn’s head coach for 2 seasons from 2021-22 and delivered disappointing results in both campaigns.
It wouldn’t be the first time Harsin has spoken out against Auburn since departing the program. Last May, Harsin complained of lack of alignment within the program while he was in charge.
Hugh Freeze was hired to replace Harsin ahead of the 2023 season, and things seemed to be heading in the right direction on the Plains — at least until Auburn’s loss to the Golden Bears on Saturday. Auburn has recruited at a high level under Freeze, but the Tigers still have a relatively young team — particularly at a position like wide receiver.
Auburn will try to get back on track against New Mexico in Week 3.
Gus can talk, as can Sen. Tuberville and Terry Bowden.
Harsin just needs to STFU
Why isn’t Gene Chizik on that list?
He’s the biggest Ahole of all of them
Thank you for your input Coach DA
I hope you watch the QB your sorry azz ran off playing for the Broncos.
Love it.
Harsin is still the reason we are struggling. National signing day is the day you sign your 4 year scholarship players. How many did Hardin sign??? ZERO!!!!!
He would have been a good hire for Vanderbilt. I didn’t understand this one from the ‘getgo’. ‘0’ ties to the area – as in ‘none’. And then he ran off the OC and DC that would be able to recruit in the players he needed. With that said; what some of the Auburn elite said about this man’s character, including what has proven to be a very innocent young woman (inferred an affair), would leave most people bitter as well. With that said, take the $20MM+ they paid you for two years work and enjoy life and move on.
Never heard of her.
