C.J. Uzomah, the former Auburn tight end, has carved out an important role for himself on the Cincinnati Bengals’ offense.

But, as the Bengals try to take down the Kansas City Chiefs to head to the Super Bowl, it appears they’ll have to do it without Uzomah.

During the first quarter of Sunday’s game, Uzomah suffered a left knee injury after attempting to make a catch:

Shortly thereafter, the Bengals took to Twitter to reveal that Uzomah had suffered a left knee injury and was doubtful to return:

That’s a big loss for the Bengals’ offense. Uzomah had 13 catches for 135 yards and 1 touchdown in the Bengals’ first 2 playoff games.
