Cadillac Williams has served as the interim head coach for Auburn since the firing of Bryan Harsin and will remain with the program as the associate head coach alongside newly announced head coach Hugh Freeze.

Williams released a statement on Tuesday confirming the report.

He’s been a huge part of the culture at Auburn and has received widespread recognition for the way he was able to breathe life into the team as it finished out a lost season that was anything but smooth.

With the regular season now in the books, the Tigers will look to turn things around in a big way next year as a new era dawns at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
