Former Auburn star Cam Newton had a solid debut for the New England Patriots in a 21-11 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. But after the game, Newton got into a bit of a scuffle with some of the Dolphins.

Newton and several of the Dolphins were seen trash-talking and going nose-to-nose as the two teams gathered on the field to shake hands. Newton then reached for his hamstring as he reached the sidelines. It appeared that one of the Dolphins may have pulled a chain that Newton wore during the game.

Newton had 75 yards rushing on 15 carries, and was 15-for-19 passing for 155 yards, as he paired with another touchdown from former Georgia star Sony Michel in the win.

Newton’s arrival in New England was expected to bring more of a rushing attack, and if this game was any indication, that is the recipe this season. He had a 4-yard run to cap an 11-play, 80-yard drive for the first touchdown of the game. He then scored again in the third quarter on an 11-yard run. The 2015 NFL MVP looked like his old self after he left the Carolina Panthers following several injuries.
