As Georgia heads to Auburn to take on the Tigers this weekend, the game will mark the 10th anniversary of the Prayer at Jordan-Hare.

In 2013, Auburn was looking to avoid an upset from Georgia, but things weren’t looking good late. The Tigers were down 38-37 with about 30 seconds to go and were facing a 4th and long situation, in need of a miracle. They got just that as quarterback Nick Marshall launched a ball downfield, which was tipped by a Georgia defender and landed in the hands of Auburn’s Ricardo Louis, who took it into the endzone to win the game.

Now, 10 years later, the roles will be reversed as Auburn comes in as the underdog. On Wednesday, the Inside College Football crew reflected on the Prayer at Jordan-Hare and broke down this week’s game.

Everyone on the crew agreed that Georgia should be able to run away with the game easily. For Randy Cross, it starts with the offense and Brock Bowers.

“When you just got skills to skills, one word of advice, that 19 kid from Georgia is pretty good, you might want to keep throwing him the ball, Brock Bowers. I think Georgia wins by at least 2 touchdowns,” Cross said.

Analyst Brian Jones believes Auburn’s lack of a passing game will be the major factor this year.

“As with recent history, Auburn has no passing game whatsoever,” Jones said. “If Robby Ashford and Payton Thorne, their 2 quarterbacks, were pitchers, they’d have batters ducking in the batter’s box. They’re throwing the ball everywhere. They missed touchdown after touchdown the other day vs. Texas A&M.”

The Bulldogs and Tigers kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
