Charles Barkley made a promise that almost no one will want to see Sunday night.

The CBS Sports studio analyst suggested that if Auburn knocks off Miami in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, he would celebrate by taking off his shirt. This came in response to a video CBS showed of Houston coach Kelvin Sampson celebrating without his shirt in the locker room.

“I tell you what, if we win, I might take my shirt off,” Barkley said.

Ernie Johnson Jr. responded, “Hold it, what did you just say?”

Barkley said, “If we win, I might take my shirt off. … I said I’m going to be Kelvin Sampson tonight if Auburn wins. First of all, I’m going to Griddy, and then I might consider taking my shirt off.”

Then Kenny Smith chimed in and said he would have the water ready to douse Barkley.

“You can’t douse me, because we’ve got to be here for the rest of the night,” Barkley said.

It will be a game of contrasts as 2-seed Auburn (28-5) will feature NBA talent from a couple of big men in 6-foot-10 Jabari Smith and 7-foot-1 Walker Kessler. The 10th-seeded Hurricanes (24-10) are far more experienced, and play a small ball attack compared to Auburn.
