Davis Harsin, 3-star QB and son of former Auburn coach, announces college commitment
Davis Harsin is staying close to home to play college football.
The son of former Auburn coach Bryan Harsin has committed to Idaho State, he announced on social media. Harsin, a 3-star QB who will play at Eagle High School, in Eagle, Idaho, is ranked No. 6 in the state of Idaho and the No. 135 QB in the Class of 2024, according to 247Sports. Harsin’s other offer was from Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Harsin understands the attention that comes with his last name.
“There’s definitely a bullseye on my back, and it’s something that I’ve embraced,” Harsin told the Idaho Statesman Friday in between games at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl 7-on-7 Tournament. “I used to not embrace it. But it’s something that I’ve embraced now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. “Pressure makes diamonds.”
COMMITTED!
I want to say thank you to God, my family, and all the coaches at Idaho State! Excited to join the Bengal Family! @CoachHarsin @CodyHawkins @CoachMondt pic.twitter.com/PFnaExSgHa— Davis Harsin 3 ⭐️ QB (@DavisHarsin) July 25, 2023
