Derick Hall is officially off the board in Kansas City. The Auburn pass rusher is heading west.

The Seattle Seahawks took Hall with the 37th overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Hall is listed an outside linebacker.

Hall played in 40 games for Auburn throughout his college career there. He accounted for 146 total tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, and 19.5 sacks.

The reason for Seattle going with a pass rusher like Hall could be because of inconsistent talent on the defensive line like Darrell Taylor and Boye Mafe.

Hall continued to perform well for the Tigers despite a coaching change halfway through the 2022 season. Bryan Harsin was fired after losing to Arkansas 41-27.

Cadillac Williams led the Tigers as interim HC and the team nearly made a bowl game, barely missing out at 5-7. Auburn lost to Alabama in the Iron Bowl 49-27 in the final regular season game of the year.

Hall could wreak havoc on NFL offensive lines if his talent transfers over to the professional level.
